Heavy as hell Californians Carlton Melton are back this summer with a new album of spaced-out psych rock, Out To Sea, due out on Agitated on July 4. It will be the band’s first release since 2013’s Always Even – an album that tQ loved – and if lead track ‘Peaking Duck’ is anything to go by, there will be no let up. They’ll be heading to these shores for a run of UK dates, with more details forthcoming, but for now, they’re confirmed for the Liverpool Psych Fest, September 25-26. In the meantime, have a listen above, and invest in very loud headphones/a spaceship immediately.
