Sounds From The Other City 2015 is imminent as the festival returns to take over a number of Salford venues for its eleventh year this Sunday (May 3) bringing with it a mix of new music, art and more.
Taking place across a number of venues up-and-down Salford’s Chapel Street, this year’s line-up includes Jane Weaver, Gengahr, LA Priest, Real Lies, Jupiter-C, Paper Dollhouse and many more playing the likes of Islington Mill, Paul Heaton’s Kings Arms Pub, St Philips Church and brewery/venue First Chop Brewing Arm. Promoters taking part in this year’s event include local crew Now Wave, new comedy night Sham Bodie, Grey Lantern and Hey! Manchester. Festival ‘art directors’ Costumologists & Faux Queens will be in charge of the overall visual aspect of the event working under the theme of ‘Micro Cosmic Delirium’.
