Andrew McKenzie To Host Esoteric Workshop

Conceptual sound artist set to lead workshops on esoteric methods for freedom and creativity throughout next week

Andrew McKenzie, the conceptual brain behind experimental art project Hafler Trio, will be leading a five-day series of workshops focusing on esoteric paths to creativity and freedom at Apiary Studios in London. Beginning on Monday, November 24, "Strategies and Techniques of the Creative Act" will seek to impart wisdom in the ways of "Time Distortion, Self-Hypnosis, Power Focus, Deep Concentration, and new ways of thinking fused with the best of the old." The workshops will largely focus on techniques of deep concentration and meditation based around sound-making and listening, and will be ended by a fourteen-hour performance piece.
