Tonight, Ben Watt is playing London's Village Underground as the final date of his UK tour in support of this year's Hendra album. He's joined by a trio completed by Bernard Butler, who worked with Watt on the record, and Martin Ditcham. They're on at 9.30 pm, preceded by Michael Chapman, who will be playing a instrumental guitar set; says Watt of him: "I first stumbled across Michael Chapman a couple of years ago, while I was working on Hendra. A friend of mine gave me a couple of the recent [Light In The Attic] reissues. I was blown away by the dynamism and grit in his playing." Chapman's on at 8.40 pm, while Meadowlark are playing now.
