Band announce new three-track EP Array, due for release later in the year

Following the announcement of a line-up change and the cancellation of some festival appearances, Loop have now confirmed that they will be playing the Levitation France festival, the event run by the organisers of the Austin Psych Fest in Angers on September 20. Bandleader Robert Hampson will be joined by two members of The Heads, drummer Wayne Maskell, who has been playing with the band following the departure of John Wills earlier this year, and bassist Hugo Morgan, alongside another guitarist, yet to be confirmed.

Excitingly, Hampson is also now talking about new material. There's scant information, but the press release explains: "new recordings in the shape of a three-track EP called Array will be released later this year". More information on that when we have it; for now, head to Levitation's website for tickets.
