We've got a spin of Dharavi in its entirety below ahead of the record's launch party in Warsaw next week

Ace Polish label Instant Classic, home to Stara Rzeka, Merkabah and Innercity Ensemble among others, have kindly given us a full stream of their next release, noise rock collective So Slow's Dharavi. The band comprise members associated with Alameda 4, Sunrise, The Band Of Endless Noise, CzerÒ, T'ien Lai, Iron To Gold, Daymares and Cast In Iron and recorded the album in Bydgoszcz and Warsaw, where they'll be launching the album next Wednesday, June 25.

While the band step back from calling it a fully-fledged concept album, the idea of urbanism is at its heart. Says singer Łukasz Jędrzejczak, one half of T'ien Lai alongside Kuba Ziołek of Stara Rzeka, Innercity Ensemble and Alameda 3: "There is this idea in social sciences that associates all social problems with urban problems and almost every important statement about modern society is connected in a way to urbanism. We can observe this in Detroit where economical crisis created an almost post-apocalyptic landscape. But the lyrics were also inspired by Futurists, dystopian sci-fi, Georg Trakl, Rainer Maria Rilke and neo-Marxism. Please be aware that our music is not a manifest. Let's leave it to scientists, writers and politicians."

Listen above, head to Instant Classic's website here to get hold of the album when it's released on June 30 and get full details of the launch show, taking place at Klubojadalnia Eufemia in Warsaw (where there'll be advance copies available), at the Facebook event.
