Goblin - Suspiria
They are touring again, so I thought I must include them on this list. I think their approach to music is important. The worse pop music gets, the more I get into free-form improv music - not saying that this is what Goblin do, but you know what I mean.

It's easier than ever to make electronic music like others are painting by numbers. I believe that the perfect formula has not been found, and if that ever existed then it would change all the time anyway. To most of you this album is no stranger, but I felt I needed to openly give it credit, so there is a record of it on the internet...
