Scientist - Scientist Meets The Space Invaders
Back in those days when I only had a few records, and listened to everything properly, I used to put this album on and stare at the speakers. Strange shapes would come out. Overton Brown took the style of King Tubby and almost made it even more three-dimensional. His astounding sleight of hand on the mixing desk sculpted the Roots Radics’ rhythm tracks into some massive, pulsating alien soundtracks, perfect for enticing and converting a curious teenager.
