With the UK leg of their European tour drawing to a close with sets in Bristol tonight and on the Quietus' Desertfest stage tomorrow, Lee Buford of the none-bleaker American sludge duo picks out 13 all-time top records and pens us his own Baker's Dozen


The National - Trouble Will Find Me
I usually don't like any new music and usually nothing in this particular genre but this was by far my favourite record of last year. I was surprised that it wasn't on every top ten list, but lyrically it is really dark, so maybe that threw people off. When we recorded Christs, Redeemers I listened to this every night over and over after we got done recording for the day. In hindsight it was pretty depressing.
