Selected Amiga/BBC Micro Works 85-92 available now

Bedroom composer-programmer Ben Jacobs, better known as Max Tundra, has released a pay-what-you-want album of computer music that takes a trip down memory lane. The LP, entitled Selected Amiga/BBC Micro Works 85-92, was recorded entirely during Tundra’s childhood with his old Commodore Amiga 500 and Acorn BBC Micro Model B.

A curious mix of rave-and-videogame-influenced programming and pubescent reimaginings of the musical themes of the time, the album is an interesting precursor to Tundra’s debut six-track tape With Love To Mummy. Says Tundra of the music: “It is fairly easy to infer the kind of music I was listening to as a kid, some of which is still buzzing around my head these days”. You can listen to the album, which was released on 6th April, via the embed below, and head to Max Tundra's Bandcamp page for more information and to buy it.
