Brooklyn imprint Bangers & Ash – a side project of the Styles Upon Styles label – specialise in putting out 12"s that pair noisy, out-there experiments with more potent and energetic club tracks. Following a series of releases from artists including Best Available Technology and Clay Wilson, they’re now about to release their first dedicated remixes 12", featuring newly re-imagined versions of the label’s previously released music.
It features remixes of Certain Creatures & Ike Yard’s collaborative track ‘Sparkle’ and Best Available Technology’s ‘Bulldozer Rituals’, by Berlin-based Downwards grubby techno sculptor Samuel Kerridge, the L.I.E.S label’s purveyor of fantastically wracked and psychedelic club-not-club tracks Jahiliyya Fields, and previous Bangers & Ash contributor Clay Wilson.
