DJ Nozinja will be bringing his ace Shangaan Electro back to London for a Bank Holiday weekend show at Electrowerkz on May 4. We’ve previously had an up-close taster of the ultra fast-paced, 189 BPM dance style when we attended one of the workshops run by the group, which comprises Nozinja, the Tshetsha Boys and vocalists Tiyiselani and Nkata Mawewe; have a read of how we got on here, and watch a playlist of SE videos at the foot of the piece. The May 4 event will be an all-nighter, with support from Branko, dEbruit, LV and Turtle and tickets available here with further details at the Facebook event.
