Noise wielder Ben Frost is releasing his fifth album, A U R O R A, on May 26 via Mute, and he’s just given us the first taster of what we can expect – stream ‘Venter’, which features Thor Harris of label mates Swans, above. He recorded the album with Harris (Frost worked with Michael Gira’s group on their last album, The Seer), Greg Fox and Shahzad Ismaily in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and is preceding the album with a series of videos made by Trevor Tweeten and Richard Mosse – watch the first below.
