Incubate Festival 2014 Announced

65daysofstatic, Current 93 and more for tenth edition of the Dutch festival

Incubate, the mighty, mighty festival of left field music in Tilburg, the Netherlands, have just announced their tenth edition. As such, you'd be wise to expect big things this year - another seven-day event, taking place from September 15-21 - as hinted by the the first names to be revealed from the bill. Sheffield post-rockers 65daysofstatic, reissuing their debut album The Fall Of Math, itself celebrating its tenth anniversary, this month, David Tibet's magickal ensemble Current 93, RAUM, the drone project of Grouper's Liz Harris and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, techno duo Basic House, psych crew Skullflower, folk artist Marissa Nadler and an AV show from producer Untold, as well as Wonvenhand, Joel Phelps, Tuxedomoon, Woods and James Pants are all confirmed so far.

There'll also be a wide range of non-musical activity, with the festival highlighting "multiple projects, for kids from elementary schools to projects for elderly people in nursery homes, take place [...] From art in public spaces to performances by renowned artists like Hermann Nitsch and Santiago Sierra".
