Point Break – (Kathryn Bigelow, 1991)
"I love this movie because it's so much fun and I can just watch it again and again. You might think that I'm nuts because I know Point Break gets ridiculed and that they have those screenings where they have the audience do all the dialogue. I don't like to see that. This is a really good movie. The performances are just great. I love Keanu Reeves! Don't tell me he's not a good actor, he's great! And Patrick Swayze is fantastic, and the girl's terrific, I forget her name... Lori Petty! And Gary Busey in his prime as well. I was never able to surf myself but I've always been a geek for surfing movies. I love Big Wednesday and that whole legendary vision of catching that perfect wave. I love the way Point Break ends with Keanu collaring the guy and letting him go out to face the fifty year storm. What a wonderful movie."
