Praise be! Coil’s remixes of Nine Inch Nails are finally to see the light of day via the new Recoiled compilation, out at the end of February via Cold Spring. Below you can find Coil’s unearthly, sensual ‘Closer (Recalled)’, and the album can be pre-ordered here. Speaking to The Quietus in June 2010, Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson described Trent Reznor as "the perfect gentleman" and spoke about some collaborative music he was working on that, alas, will now perhaps never see the light of day. "I am working on some things using his raw tracks but I don’t know if he will ever want to use them because the music I am enjoying working on now sounds like what you might hear if you were coming out of a K-Hole in a Phnom Penh gay brothel where they were playing a very scratched copy of Coil’s Time Machines album on vinyl, probably at the wrong speed!"
