Starting at 4 pm (GMT) this afternoon, Boiler Room will be streaming a live set from a crew of Electro Chaabi MCs, put on by Rinse FM as part of their Cairo Calling project with the Egyptian label 100 Copies and the British Council. Sadat, Diesel and Figo, all of whom featured in tQ editor John Doran's Electro Chaabi features last year, are on the bill, alongside Knka, in collaboration with Rinse DJs Faze Miyake, Kode9 and Artwork.
