Humble Pie To Reissue Rockin' The Fillmore
Laurie Tuffrey , October 11th, 2013 11:32

Mammoth four-disc set due later this month

Humble Pie's landmark live double-album Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore will be getting an expanded, remastered reissue on October 28 via Omnivore Recordings/Universal Music.

Performance: Rockin’ The Fillmore — The Complete Recordings will feature all four of the shows the band recorded at the New York venue on May 28 and 29, 1971, with the remastering overseen by band members Peter Frampton and Jerry Shirley.

Says Frampton: "It’s like a breath of fresh air after listening to one particular version. The beauty of it is that you get three other completely different performances of most of the songs. And it’s great to hear Steve [Marriott]’s banter from all of the shows. We’ve lived with 'It's really been a gas!' for 40-odd years, and now there’s more."

Head to Omnivore to pre-order the album and listen to 'I Don't Need No Doctor' from the original album below:
