Cellular Chaos – Cellular Chaos
Weasel Walter's Cellular Chaos featuring Admiral Grey, or as I like to call her, the anti-Karen O. This group is so fuckin' wrong it's right. Sixty-three-year-old jazz drummer, hot musical female bass player, Weasel Walter, probably one of the most talented masters of musical mayhem that I've ever met in the last decade. Weasel Walter was playing guitar in Retrovirus, mainly he's the drummer, but he plays guitar in Cellular Chaos as well. It's definitely a party record depending on how smart or stupid your friends are... probably a fire party. Admiral Grey... it's like watching a genius throwing a temper tantrum while trying to box her way out of her own head. So violent, silly, unhinged. It's broken. I call it glamwave, it's like no wave meets glam with something else. I don't really like this kind of music to listen to, but this will drive everyone crazy on the whole block.
