Norwegian metal-pop trio Deathcrush are following up on their debut single - a flexi disc released on the cover of their very own magazine, no less; have a look here - with a new four-track 12", 'Skool's In'. It's out on October 7 through Norway Rat/Believe Distribution, and features three new tracks, as well as a remix by fellow Norwegian, London-based producer James Njie. Ahead of the release, we've got a first play of new track 'Lesson #4 for Wharton Tiers / Strauss' - have a listen and get hold of it below:

Grinding, gurning noise collides straight from the off, relentlessly surging forward with all the potency of a heatseeker missile, easing off only momentarily to let the vocals seep in, before that filthy serration of a guitar line rears up again. (Listen right to the very final second - the whole thing hurtles towards an end that can only be described as cheeky.)

If you like what you hear, the band will be hitting the UK for four shows next month - have a look at the dates below and stay tuned to the band's website for updates:

Wed 9 - The Old Blue Last, London
Thu 10 - Rock City, Nottingham
Fri 11 - Club NME, Koko, London
Sat 12 - Lennon’s, Southampton
