The Hydra: Full Line-Ups
The Quietus , August 21st, 2013 12:12

Broken & Uneven's season of parties kicks off this weekend, with a line-up of Detroit heavyweights

London promoters Broken & Uneven recently revealed the full list of artists and dates for their season of parties under the name The Hydra. Following on from last year's first set of Hydra parties, which brought labels like Ostgut Ton, Dial, Workshop and more to various London venues, this year's season looks set to be similarly exhaustive (and, if you by some astonishing feat of self-discipline manage to make it to every party, exhausting), running from this Saturday 24th August until 1st January 2014.

It kicks off this weekend with a heavyweight line-up of Detroit techno pioneers, hosted with Blueprint. Taking place at Brixton's Electric this Saturday 24th August, and with a few advance tickets still available from here, it hosts three of the city's second wave techno artists: Robert Hood, Jeff Mills and their alma mater Underground Resistance, who will be presenting their Timeline show. They're joined by Samuel Kerridge and James Ruskin.

From there onwards, a number of Quietus favourites are appearing across the coming few months. Among them are hardware house don Kassem Mosse, Demdike Stare and Andy Stott, John Talabot, Francois K, neo industrial techno firebrands Karenn, James Holden, a Hyperdub session featuring Kode9, Ikonika, Jessy Lanza and more.

The full Hydra season runs as follows, and you can grab tickets and more information for all of the events here.
