Earlier this year, Pixies put out their first new material following several years of touring with the free-to-download song ‘Bagboy’ – click here for more. Which, despite Kim Deal having officially parted ways with Frank Black, Joey Santiago and Dave Lovering, hinted that there might well be more to come at some point – and, if ‘Bagboy’ was anything to go by, that it might actually end up being pretty good.
Well, last night the world was gifted with an additional snippet of teasing information thanks to a Vine video posted onto TheActualPixies Twitter by Black himself – which you can view here. And damn! If that isn’t Black screaming bloody eye-bulging murder along to what sounds distinctly like storming new Pixies material… If and when this new album materialises it suggests we might just be in for a treat.
