Slint, the post-rock-shaping five-piece from Louisville, Kentucky, have been announced as headliners for ATP's End Of An Era Part 2, the last holiday camp festival, taking place at Camber Sands Butlins from November 29-December 1.

It's a rare set from the band, who released two LPs, including their landmark Spiderland, in the late 80s/early 90s. They've been mostly inactive since, barring a string of live appearances in 2005 and 2007, kickstarted by another ATP headline set, as arranged by the promoters' Barry Hogan, who says: “I'll never forget the first time I heard Spiderland. It’s one of those records that changed my life and even inspired me to reform the band in 2005 by flying to Louisville, and bringing all the original members together for the first time in 13 years. Spiderland still excites me now as much as the first time I heard it. To say we are fortunate to have this incredibly influential band play the final ATP is a huge understatement.”
