Electronic duo La Fin Absolute Du Monde start IndieGoGo campaign to fund remix release

Gloomy Californian electro-mongers La Fin Absolute Du Monde have started an IndieGoGo campaign to fund their upcoming remix album, which will feature a reworking of their track 'Black Sheep' by Quietus favourite Godflesh/Jesu man Justin K. Broadrick.

As well as the Broadrick rework, there'll be remixes from Todd Weinstock of Glassjaw and Hotstuff & The Eyecandy's Neo Gibson, alongside the original tracks and an exclusive cut of new material, 'Love Song'.

Says Broadrick of the remix: "I really enjoy the song, and wish to retain its melancholy mood, but somehow breathe heaviness into it."

The band are looking to raise $5,000 ahead of the LP's January 2014 release. Head over to the band's IndieGoGo profile, where the incentives range from a digital download of the album for $5 to a private party along with the band cooking dinner for $1,500 (though you'll need to be within a four hour drive of San Luis Obispo, so this one's mainly for you, Californians). In the meantime, have a watch of the band's trailer for the LP above.
