Arizonan rockers Destruction Unit are releasing a new album of their "morphine boogie for the 21st century noise addict". Deep Trip (for a slightly shallower trip, have a look at that artwork above) will be their first widely-distributed LP, following various limited run releases, and is out on Sacred Bones Records on August 19 – ahead of that, listen to album opener ‘The World On Drugs’ below:
Plus, they’re releasing a 7" ahead of that, ‘Two Strong Hits’, on July 15 via Suicide Squeeze Records – watch the video for ‘Sonic Pearl’ from that record below:
They’ve just finished a tour with Merchandise and Milk Music and will be setting out another U.S. tour next month with European dates to follow – stay tuned for further updates.
