Two years after its release, Shabazz Palaces premier the video for An Echo From The Hosts That Profess Infinitum

Taken from 2011's debut album, Black Up, Seattle-based hip-hop collective Shabazz Palaces have just released a new video for the track 'An Echo From The Hosts That Profess Infinitum'.

Fabled for their long-winded track names and experimental approach to hip-hop production, the video reflects their eclectic audio and visual taste. Shot entirely in a sombre monochrome, the video details the sinister posturings of a duo of knife-wielding and Molotov cocktail-making masked assassins over the top of the track's weighty, minimal beat and vocal delivery. A chime-filled breakdown then puts the group's name into the frame before drifting out into mirrored abstract images of the figures threateningly gesturing toward the viewer - have a watch above.
