Sigur Rós have given us another taster of their forthcoming seventh album Kveikur, out on June 17 via XL, with the new video for the title track – have a watch above.
The band had said in January on an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit that the album would be more "aggressive", which the song amply proves. The visuals are used for the band’s live shows and come from the British film Institute’s archives.
The recently played the song on the Jay Leno show – have a watch here – and follows the previously revealed tracks ‘Ísjaki’ and ‘Brennisteinn’.
The band are about to embark on a European tour, making the following stops in the UK and Ireland:
