Indie band to play shows in all corners of the Big Smoke

London-based indie-pop four-piece Allo Darlin’ have today announced a run of special shows in their hometown to road test tracks from their forthcoming third album.

The new LP is yet to be committed to tape, so this could be the last chance for a while to hear glimpses of their progress. The four-show mini tour stops at a selection of intimate and unexpected venues, which singer Elizabeth Morris describes as: “An ancient church, a jazz venue, a converted Victorian WC and, of course, the classic, a back room of a pub.”

From St Pancras Old Church in north London to the Half Moon all the way down south in Herne Hill, Morris explains the interesting location choices: “We haven't played any small shows in London for a long time, and we're aware that sometimes the best venues are the smallest ones. We've always felt that we play our best at these kinds of shows, and it doesn't seem fair that our London audience misses out on them.

"So we decided to do a show in every corner of this fair city of ours, in four venues that we have never played before. It's a London compass, if you will.”
