DJs Maft Sai and Chris Menist will be joined by Angkanang Kunchai for party this Saturday

Calling all Bangkok readers! This Saturday, April 30, friends of the Quietus DJs Maft Sai and Chris Menist will be hosting their 4th annual Paradise Bangkok party.

This year, as well as sets from Maft and Chris, curating "their unique blend of luk thung, reggae, molam, jazz and afro-grooves to a diverse crowd in the heart of the capital", there'll be a live performance by Angkanang Kunchai, aka The Original Molam Queen, backed by The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band.

Say PB of their guest: "[A] blend of Isan musicianship, powered by one of Bangkok's funkiest rhythm sections." Ace, in other words.

It's taking place at Sonic in Ekamai, with tickets at 400 Baht and a special PB mix CD for the first 500 through the door. For more details, head to the Facebook event here.
