Track features on pair of Goat remix 12"s coming out on Record Store Day

Rocket Recordings have announced that they'll be releasing a pair of limited edition Goat (those loons above) remix 12"s on Record Store Day, April 30, all of which see 'Run To Your Mama' from last year's mighty World Music reworked by an assemblage of fine exponents of psych. Included in there are friends of the Quietus Teeth Of The Sea - have a listen to their 'Greatest Of All Time Mix':

Tripling the length of the original cut, TotS beginning by positing the track in a hale of choral drone and synth squall, before the original groove surfaces. Here, though, it's psyched to breaking point: some very fine fretboard mangling wahs across the stereoscope, sailing high over a sea of serrating fuzz, a vicious buzzsaw noise that eventually envelops the track whole.

Elsewhere on the first of the two 12"s, The Horrors' Tom Furse has his way with the track, along with Thought Forms, High Wolf of Not Not Fun, Invada's Redg Weeks, while the second disc sees Quietus favourites Gnod collaborate with Manchester producer Raikes Parade and Leeds' ascendant Hookworms add a touch of space rock to proceedings, making up a cast completed by Cherrystones and Cage & Aviary.

There'll only by 2000 pressings, on blue vinyl, of the 12"s, so act quick when Record Store Day comes around.
