L.A. Sunshine Booster Mix From Dublab
The Quietus , November 22nd, 2012 07:54

Do you remember that sensation? Of the sun warming your arms, of the bright light filtering through green leaves, of the only marks on the blue sky being kisses left by jet plane vapour trails... of your head being flooded with serotonin?

Well our man in L.A. Alejandro Cohen has just done us a mix that should help you recreate those heady days of Summer in your office or domicile with this excellent mix of Los Angeles stoned classics and his favourite tracks from this year that create that languid vibe.

We met Alejandro in Germany and had a great night dancing to French house music in a club in Berlin surrounded by hipsters waving baguettes in the air. (They may not have been hipsters, they may have been bakers with moustaches.)

Anyway he works for the excellent online radio station Dub Lab which we think you should check out.

Ale says: "After meeting John Doran from The Quietus in Germany through a trip sponsored by Initiative Musik, he invited me to record a mix for them. Here it is, a mix of some Los Angeles classics, with some of my favorite ones from around the world. I hope you enjoy it."

Turn up the heating, put on your sunglasses and pour yourself a long drink!
