After a successful 2011 - which we described in our review as "a programme whose greatest virtue is to successfully meld imported acts with Den Haag's own scene" - The Hague's REWIRE Festival For Contemporary Culture is set to take place again this year, running from 2nd-4th November. It has a similarly eclectic attitude to music as festival contemporaries Incubate and Unsound, bringing together a variety of electronic and experimental musics - this year's line-up already includes the likes of Shackleton, Laurel Halo, Pete Swanson (formerly of Yellow Swans) and Black Rain.

So far around fifteen acts have been announced for this year's edition. As well as the above, all of which have received love on the Quietus' pages, chief among them are LA beatsmith Nosaj Thing, UK electronic producer patten, Norwegian duo Deaf Center and Lotus Plaza (aka Deerhunter's Lockett Pundt performing solo). In addition the line-up include Juffage, Rocketnumbernine, Alex Smoke and Halls, and three artists from the Dutch scene - Knalpot, H-SIK and FilosofischeStilte.

Many more names are yet to be announced, but tickets are already available from REWIRE's ticket shop. They're currently priced at €25 for an early bird ticket, though the price will go up as the festival draws nearer. For more information about the festival, head across to their website.
