Walls Announce Residency

In London this autumn

After recently conquering Boiler Room, London duo Walls are to curate Ecstatic, a three month residency at the Waiting Room on Stoke Newington High Street in London. This begins with a seven hour DJ set on the 7th September.

Composed of Sam Willis and Alessio Natalizia, the Kompakt-signed outfit deliver ethereal, ambient pop that showcases their pleasingly diverse range of influences. These may become increasingly more apparent over the residency as the pair attempt to showcase their musical diversity whilst simultaneously appeasing the dancefloor. As curators of the event Walls have also included several special guests for later dates of the event series, the details of which are being kept strictly under wraps for the time being.

The three-part DJ series comes ahead of forthcoming new studio material from Walls, which will make up their eighth release on the German based Kompakt label. The debut event will be free before twelve, and if this generosity wasn’t enough the first ten attendees will receive an exclusive mix CD from Kompakt. Keep tuned to their Facebook for more info.
