Jump + Move + Rock single from forthcoming album In East London, both set for release in September

Prolific remixer/producer Wrongtom and dancehall MC Deemas J have got a collaboration album on the way, simply titled In East London in homage to their roots, and set for release on September 24 via Tru Thoughts. We’ve got an exclusive premiere of the first single, the gloriously straight-up hype track, ‘Jump + Move + Rock’, out on September 3 - have a listen below:

They're long-time collaborators, with a shared history kindled back in ‘80s London funk nights. More recently, Deemas J has dropped vocals for people like Andy C, High Contrast and Ras Kwame, while Wrongtom’s been producing countless remixes, with his rework of Roots Manuva on 2010’s Duppy Writer album well worth a listen.
