So far this year, London vocalist Jessie Ware has rarely strayed far from the limelight. Since February’s ‘Running’, we’ve been treated to a seductive reworking of the Bobby Caldwell classic ’What You Won’t Do For Love’, as well as the Julio Bashmore-produced ‘110%’. ‘Wildest Moments’ sees Ware straying slightly from her now-familiar electro-chic schtick, instead opting for a sound with more anthemic - dare we say it, chart-bothering - aspirations. Still, the prevailing impression is one of refinement: this is pop crafted with a keen awareness of history; not to mention the keen ears of Ware’s producers, Dave Okumu (of The Invisible) and Kid Harpoon.

In the Kate Moross-directed video, which you can watch below, the luxuriant stage-dressing of ‘Running’ and rich narrative of '100%' are eschewed in favour of something altogether simpler. ‘Wildest Moments’ is taken from Ware’s debut album, Devotion, out on PMR on 20th August.
