Field Day 2013: Go! Go! Go!
The Quietus , June 26th, 2012 09:59

Tickets on sale now

We had a great time at Field Day 2012, with a packed tent and loads of youth going nuts to Grimes, loads of slightly older dudes going nuts to Tortoise, and everyone completely losing the proverbial to the mighty Afrocubism. We're therefore very pleased to announce that Field Day 2013 is already in the planning! The Festival will return to Victoria Park on June 1st 2013 (subject to licence) and tickets are on sale now with the early bird price of £39.50. You can buy them here. You can read our review of Field Day 2012 here. See you next year.

Says Field Day promoter Tom Baker "It felt that Field Day 2012 was the best yet. The lay out of the site worked really well, the line-up was really exciting and I personally got to see loads more bands than I ever have at Field Day. We also sold out for the 6th year in a row, now with a total capacity of 30,000, in a time that feels like some festivals and outdoor events are struggling. So a big thank you to everyone that came to Field Day and all the artists that played. I am already starting to book Field Day 2013 and due to the move to June 2012 can now enjoy going to many other festivals and events over the summer!"
