Logos is set to release his debut EP Kowloon through Martin Clark's Keysound label next week (23rd April). A sequence of four ultra stripped-back tracks that draw heavily from early Wiley instrumentals (his eskibeat material and beatless 'Devil Mixes'), they're sparse in the extreme, consisting of little but sub-bass, strung-out drum machine rhythms and icy tendrils of synth. The title track in particular is something that's been knocking around for quite a while in DJ sets and mixes, its chilly sense of stasis suddenly dropping momentum to a halt. In advance of the EP's release, you can watch a video for one of its tracks, 'Atlanta 96', above, which sets the music to appropriately dark and moody images of nocturnal London.

In other Keysound news, they're celebrating the release of LHF's great Keepers Of The Light album (read our review here) with a takeover of Fabric's Room 3 tonight. DJs on the night are Dusk & Blackdown, Logos, LHF, Sully, Vibezin and LV, and in advance of the evening Fabric have run a series of great mixes and listening content, which Clark has collated here.
