Thrill Jockey’s excellent hauntological analogue tape splicers Imbogodom return this week with their second album And They Turned Not When They Went.

And to celebrate the genius musique concrete of Alexander Tucker and Daniel Beban we have a video for ‘Borogmog’s Clock’ to show you below:

The follow up to The Metallic Year was also assembled painstakingly using live feeds from sources such as the Houses of

Parliament’s bell Big Ben and pushing their tape splicing technique even further into the realms of the complex.

They stretched, slowed and warped their source material at the BBC’s Bush House as well as at an old lighthouse in Dungeness, Camden’s Roundhouse and an old coast guard building for extra atmosphere.
