Back at the height of their UK fame, America remained curiously immune to the corduroy-trousered charms of Pulp. Now, the good people across the Atlantic have a chance to make amends as Jarvis Cocker & co play a series of American dates this spring. As well as the previously-announced Coachella set on April 20th, Pulp play Radio City Music Hall in New York on April 11 and the Warfield in San Francisco on April 17th. They've also confirmed a May 4th appearance at the SOS Festival in Spain. Pulp have announced the news thus: "The echo returns. Razzmatazz in the birthplace of Razzle-Dazzle. Pulp at Radio City Music Hall: has anything of this magnitude happened since Ziggy landed there in '73? 'Dunno mate - fantastic sight-lines though'. Golden Gate? Gotta be great. Murcia, have mercy on us. Enough already..... are you sure you're ready for this?" You can read Neil Kulkarni's brilliant live review of Pulp here.
