Hypercolour dubstep/grime producer to release The Vision at the end of October, puts out video for grimey new single 'Back In The Days'

Bristol producer of shimmering, chunky dubstep(ish) tracks Joker has announced the full details of his upcoming album The Vision, which is due for release through 4AD on October 31st.

It's been a long time coming - Joker's series of releases in 2008 and 2009 on Earwax and his own label Kapsize helped to define a brightly coloured, R'n'B-flecked take on dubstep/grime that proved massively influential on the 'bass music' masses now packing out clubs.

The Vision features older tracks 'Tron' and 'My Trance Girl', as well as a host of new material (a lot of which looks set to feature vocals). 'Back In The Days' features a crew of Bristol MCs, including Shadz, who contributes the chorus. Ongoing collaborator Ginz, who worked with Joker on 2009's monstrous 'Purple City', is also involved.
