Lou Reed and Metallica's joint musical project is either going to be the most surprising, keenly anticipated thing we've heard in years... or a gaseous waft of self-indulgence that could threaten to extinguish life on this earth as we know it. Aside from some mutual loving, details on the project are sketchy.
