Exclusive: OMD To Release Live CD

Live In Berlin to be a limited edition, deluxe account of last year's History Of Modern tour

Seminal synth-poppers Orchestral Manoeures In The Dark have announced the release of a limited edition live CD, entitled OMD Live In Berlin.

The album is billed as full account of their performance in Berlin last year as part of their History Of Modern tour, containing some of their best known material including ‘Souvenir’, ‘Enola Gay’ and ‘Joan Of Arc’. In keeping with the modern day trend for extravagant boxsets, it arrives in a deluxe package containing "a hard back book from the tour, never before seen hand written notes, recent letters from the group to their fans, and a selection of lyrics".

Front man Andy McClusky says of the album: "We see it as a way to share our life on the road with the people who have been there with us for the span of a career. It’s something we’re excited to experience with our fans."

OMD Live In Berlin will be released on August 22nd, in a limited edition of 1000. It will be sold from the band’s website, and is already up for pre-order.
