The Quietus - A new rock music and pop culture website

Free Comp By New Indie Electric Sound

While taking a quick break for an excellent channa massala burger with freshly prepared onion bhajee and lime pickle at Field Day on Saturday, Quietus co-pilot John Doran had a CD pressed into his hands by a serious young man intent on setting up his own label.

On playing said gift we are quite pleased to hear that in amongst the indie strummery and the post rockery there are some enticing bands, not the least NOW and their bleep n'blatt procedural, 'The Foundry Favourite' and folktronic slab 'Unknown Unknowns' by Jim Holland.

The kind souls are giving the compilation away for free. Get in touch with Electric Sound Records here and leave them some feedback.
