Birmingham bash gets even better!

As if Birmingham's Supersonic Festival weren't already shaping up to have an excellent lineup, a set of newly confirmed acts has pushed it through the stratosphere. The festival has recently booked appearances from American experimentalist Tony Conrad, a solo act version of Silver Apples, ex-Lungfish bassist and current banjo man extraordinaire Nathan Bell, avant-prog metallers Circle, instrumental stoner rockers Pharaoh Overlord, and film screenings for Man With a Video Camera, often called the first documentary ever made, and Kill All Redneck Pricks: KARP Lives! 1990-1998, an acclaimed post-punk/riot grrl rumination. Including the newly booked acts, the full bill for the festival is currently as follows:

Agathe Max
Bardo Pond
Blarke Bayer/Black Widow
Electric Wizard
Eternal Tapestry
Lucky Dragons
Nathan Bell
Pharaoh Overlord
Pekko Kappi
Secret Chiefs
Silver Apples
Skull Defekts
Tony Conrad
White Hills
Wolves in the Throne Room
