Manu Chao and Ólöf Arnalds set for this year's bash

Described on this very site as "the world’s most beautiful event", Norway’s Træna Festivalhas confirmed its first two international artists for this year's event.

Franco-Spanish singer Manu Chao will appear in his ‘power trio’ incarnation Manu Chao La Ventura, and Iceland’s Ólöf Arnalds will also perform.

The Træna Festival takes place under the midnight sun on a small island right on the Arctic Circle between July 7-9. Tickets cost €128 (+ tax), though to get there you’ll need to make your way to Bodø and then take a five hour boat ride. They’re limited to 2000 and sell out every year. Further information can be found at the festival’s website here.
