Mogwai Announce Tiny London Gig
Luke Turner , January 10th, 2011 05:03

...and we're playing records

The Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen is, when the PA is cranked and you've some malevolent bastards onstage, one of the finest venues for a deafening in all London Town. We're therefore having a polite word with our tinnitus to behave as we announce that on Wednesday February 9th excellent malevolent illegitimates Mogwai are to play a rare intimate gig in the venue. ATP is putting on the show, which also features the superb Remember Remember as support act and your friends from the Quietus playing one of our special brutal DJ sets - anyone at our Wire and Factory Floor gig late last year will know what to expect. See it as a thank you to Mr Stuart Braithwaite, whose DJ skills kept us entertained on New Year's Eve. Tickets go on sale today (Monday January 10th) at 13.00 from the ATP website, priced £20. Mogwai's new LP, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will is released on February 14th.

If you love our features, news and reviews, please support what we do with a one-off or regular donation. Year-on-year, our corporate advertising is down by around 90% - a figure that threatens to sink The Quietus. Hit this link to find out more and keep on Black Sky Thinking.
