It won't take as long as Chinese Democracy... famous last words?

Guns N' Roses are set to begin working on their new album shortly, with guitarist DJ Ashba claiming that they have "a bunch of good ideas" - and that the record won't take as long to make as Chinese Democracy.

There was a 15-year-wait between 1993's "The Spaghetti Incident?" and 2008's Chinese Democracy, but Asbha told "We've got a lot of good stuff on the plate coming out," he continued. "It won't take as long [as Chinese Democracy] – I promise.

"I'm excited to get this next one rolling. Axl [Rose] has a lot of good shit up his sleeves, so I'm really excited about it."
