Massive Attack - Blue Lines (Virgin, 1991)

Me and Daddy G support the same football club. Much respect. Bristol has its own attitude, its own style that certain je ne sais quoi, that maybe Liverpool had with The Beatles. What also makes Bristol so unique is that it’s close to Bath and that’s the first place me and Jimmy [Cauty, The Orb/KLF] used to DJ.

You might not be able to dance to it but I can. It’s not only one of rave's enduring albums it's one of the UK's most pioneering albums... the first of its kind.
