Throbbing Gristle Gear Up For Weekend
The Quietus , October 20th, 2010 11:37

...with broken fingers

If the Quietus wasn't at Supersonic Festival this weekend we'd be heading down to the Village Underground in East London for Throbbing Gristle's performance for the Hackney Dissenting Academy, where they'll be acting as "rectors". Enthusiastic Twitter resident and blogger has been whetting our appetite for a show that promises "a predominantly new set" with details of the technology being assembled for the performance... and the rather painful account of his breaking two fingers in two days in the process.

You can read about that on Chris Carter's section of the TG website, and find out the more technical side of the box that Carter has constructed for Cosey Fanni Tutti here, and watch Cosey having a first go on the machine via the Vimeo below. Buy tickets for Saturday's events here.
