Hard-Fi pal gets mitts on Manuva back-catalogue

South London-based producer Wrongtom has compiled an album of re-workings of Roots Manuva tracks for the Big Dada label.

Duppy Writer will feature a range of tracks from across the UK rapper's back-catalogue, as well as a brand new collaboration between Wrongtom, Roots Manuva and Ricky Ranking, entitled 'Jah Warriors'.

Wrongtom - a producer whose past career includes work with Hard-Fi and Trojan Records - chose to re-imagine each track as an original version from a previous decade, taking in classic roots and digidub stylings.

The album be released on Big Dada on 6 September.
